Literature Text

Dear friend you wait at my door.
You stretch your arms.
Your dark wings towards me.
Your everlasting white smile
Beckoning me forward.

Your dark eyes hold eternity.
Thy gleaming weapon has fallen many.
Your dress hides your identity
Though everyone fears your symmetry.

Friend, have you come to embrace my soul;
My troubled mind to console?
Come wrap your wings about me.
Shield me from my enemies.
Let me hide in thee.
This is a poem I wrote in 04 about my dear friend, Death. I call him Bobby.

Is this "friend" death by any chance?

I'm happy to read you "were" going through stuff, but not 'still' it seems. :hug:

Good stuff! Always good to write our feelings out; always seems to, with time, help right any situation...by giving us perspective.
